The Position

We’re looking for a talented Senior Frontend Engineer to join our fully remote team. The right candidate will have strong technical chops, communication skills and is excited to collaborate with product, engineering and design to build the right product for our customers. You will implement the core front end functionality for our user-facing products. Our team is small so you will also have the opportunity to influence the engineering culture, processes & roadmap. 

This role will be reporting into our Engineering Lead who brings experience from Amazon & Google. 

About You

We're looking for a software engineer with strong CS fundamentals who can contribute across our stack, and who loves to write and ship things quickly.

  • 4+ years of experience as a Frontend Engineer with a track record of delivering excellent end-user experiences

  • Excellent with modern Javascript frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue etc. 

  • Experience styling modern UIs with HTML/CSS 

  • Knowledge of web services (e.g. REST APIs, GraphQL)

  • Experience with automated testing of frontend applications

  • You have iteratively developed a UI based on feedback from multiple people in a small team within a production setting

  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills. Can collaborate in a cross-functional team with engineers, product designers, non-technical stakeholders and early customers

  • Excited about our vision and building impactful products for our customers

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent demonstrated ability

Responsibilities

Our engineering team will be working towards building out the MVP into a robust SaaS product.

  • Collaborate with our CEO, Product Designers & Engineering to ship high-quality features in a fast-paced environment

  • Participate in our agile development process including code reviews, sprint planning & sprint retrospectives.

  • Advocate and implement front end architecture to increase efficiency, alignment with design systems, and testability

  • Utilize software development best practices (Git, CI/CD, unit tests, automated testing etc.)
